Letter of reference for Randy Naas

 

It is really a privilege to relate the experience we had working with Randy on our home. He came highly recommended and lived up to our expectations and more.

 

We built our home initially with a plain concrete slab off the back door. We wanted to do something special with the space later to go better with the extensive landscaping we were doing.

 

When we were ready, Randy came out and met with my wife and me at a very convenient time for us. He listened to what we had in mind and surveyed the yard in general. He quickly came up with several ideas that took what we had tried to describe and put some real form to them. He talked through his thoughts with us and adjusted as needed to particular needs and concerns we had as well as to our further ideas. He pointed out logistical facts and possible problems we had not thought of. Once done Randy was able on the spot to lay out and draft a detailed plan for our new “space” (our patio).

Not only has he an excellent awareness of design but also of the real world of installation and maintenance.

 

He was further very helpful with a lot of other plant and tree questions. He is definitely knowledgeable of the industry and options for dealing with landscaping plans as well as plant material problems or deficiencies.

 

But by far Randy’s best virtue was his willingness to follow up and be available for ideas or adjustments required during the actual installation.

He saved me one time in particular when I had thought myself into a selection problem when there really wasn’t one to begin with.

 

Randy definitely reaffirmed my appreciation for what designers can do when they have a good balance of artistry as well as nuts and bolts knowledge. He is also just a good person to work with.
